Walnes supplies a selection of Thomas Elliott granular fertiliser products suitable for amenity grassland, horticulture and allotments. These high-quality fertilisers will supply essential nutrients and minerals to promote growth, root development and plant health.
We also stock Suregrow horse and pony paddock fertiliser, a low nitrogen, slow-release formulation specifically formulated for equine grazing. This nutrient-balanced fertiliser promotes steady grass growth throughout the season, thus preventing a lush, high protein sward, which can be harmful.
Soil analysis and crop/grassland nutrient advice is also available on request.
Nutrient balance and improvement
Growmore 7-7-7
This general purpose fertiliser contains the three major nutrients essential for strong and healthy growth, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. Formulated to promote heavy cropping with fruit and vegetables, and balanced vigorous growth florals and ornamental plants. Growmore is an ideal fertiliser when laying turf or sowing grass seed.
Sulphate of Iron
A popular lawn tonic, this fertiliser supplies iron – a vital trace element – and is also suitable for shrubs and plants. It will promote soil fertility, and help reduce alkalinity and improve the availability of natural elements and essential nutrients. It can aid the cultivation of plants which thrive in acid conditions and calcifuge (lime hating) plants such as Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Magnolias and Conifers. A regular top dressing can also benefit Ericas and alpines.

Elliott's Lawn Feed and Weed Plus Moss Killer
An ideal spring/summer feed with the benefit of some useful weed and moss control. For use between May and August, this AMATEUR LAWN TREATMENT, should be applied twice a year, with treatments applied at least 40 days apart and no later than August.
Elliott's Lawn Sand 3.5-0-0+3.6% Fe
A fertiliser that can help green up turf, strengthen the sward and improve its resistance to disease and moss invasion.
Amenity grassland and sports fields
Autumn-Winter NPK 3-12-12 Granular Blend
This outfield fertiliser has a relatively low Nitrogen (N) content but will provide sufficient nutrients to maintain grassland without producing unwanted lush growth. For use in autumn and winter, it offers a balanced blend of Phosphorus (P) and Potash (K) to maintain soil based nutrient reserves. It will sustain a healthy root structure and also help the sward resist fungal disease infestation.
Spring-Summer NPK 11-5-5 Mini-gran
This simple balanced homogeneous Spring & Summer fertiliser has a mini 1.5 to 2.5mm granule size. Designed for sports turf, including sand constructed areas where nutrients tend to leach quickly, it’s often used where detailed soil analysis is unavailable.
NPK 12-3-9+ 1%Fe+0.5%Mg Mini-gran
Designed for sports turf, including sand constructed areas, where nutrients tend to leach out quickly.
Outfield NPK 12-6-6 Maxi-Granule
A general purpose fertiliser for coarse turf on outfield areas of golf courses/sports fields. It is also suitable for lawns and meadow/wildflower-rich areas where green foliage growth is required.
