Walnes has more than 15-years’ experience creating and developing organic grass and herbage mixtures. This market continues to expand, but feedback from growers shows that optimising sward establishment and maintaining productivity from these leys can present challenges.

Our own practical experience producing and managing organic grass seed means we have a sound understanding of organic grassland and a knowledge base that customers can draw on to improve their outcomes. Our range of seeds and on-site mixing facilities, enables us to produce a variety of organic blends. Most of the agricultural mixtures offered in our catalogue are available with organic certification. We can also provide bespoke mixes to suit topography, soil type and management/husbandry specifications.
